Instead, opt for colors that compliment; there are numerous color wheels in books and on the Internet that show exactly what colors go with which, so do use them if you aren’t sure. For that aforementioned red dress, for example, bold colors such as blacks, whites and metallics are best.

It can be easy to get carried away when accessories shopping, and come home having purchased things that are of no use and you will never wear. Make sure accessories match your style and outfits and work either as the final cherry on top or as part of the outfit. With these key concepts in mind, accessories shopping should be a doddle.
